Cardiological specialist exams and diagnostics
Cardiology department is engaged in the treatment of heart conditions. The heart as the engine of the human body deserves a lot of attention. At the department, specialist cardiological examinations and tests are carried out which allow us to assess the functioning of the heart, to diagnose any medical conditions and to advise on the appropriate treatment.
Cardiological tests also include an ECG when relaxed, testing the burden on the heart with or without oxygen consumption, measuring the lung function when relaxed. The heart rhythm is monitored 24 or 72 hours with a Holter ECG; whereas the blood pressure is monitored and measured for 24 hours.
The heart’s pumping function and cardiac valves is assessed with an ultrasound examination of the heart.
