Cardiology clinic

The cardiology clinic carries out specialist cardiology examinations and preventive examinations used to assess the risk of cardiovascular diseases in individuals.

The cardiology clinic uses state-of-the-art equipment for assessing the functioning of the cardiovascular system, which is updated in accordance with professional guidelines. Beside an ECG when relaxed, the functioning of the heart's pumping function and cardiac valves is examined using the heart ultrasound, in which more advanced ways of cardiac muscle display are used, only possible using modern appliances and digital equipment.

The functioning of the heart and lungs during physical exertion is estimated with a stress test, with or without oxygen consumption measurement.

Blood pressure is monitored with a 24-hour RR measurement, and a Holter ECG is used to monitor heart rhythm for 24 or 72 hours.
